I'm Frankie, a  Lancashire based theatre maker, creative writer and passionate collaborator based in Preston.  I like to build theatrical worlds based on simple stimuli; combining disciplines to find creative ways to present my ideas to audiences. Currently I am most fascinated by themes of escapism, connection, loneliness and modern community.

Although my training and career so far has been primarily based in theatre, I'm currently intrigued by how I can incorporate digital elements into my live work, and also how I may tell stories through online mediums. For the next twelve months I am pushing my practice out of the bounds of studio spaces, and experimenting with performances delivered through sound and social media.

I see value in all art forms, and combining them is a key interest in my endeavours. I would be best described as curious and experimental; I have coined myself to be a bit of a creative chamilian.

At the moment, I am developing and facilitating writing workshops, and writing what I hope to be my first digital play. I am also currently performing Sonder (seen in projects)  as part of a community engagement effort that aims to bring contemporary theatre to younger audiences.
